"The child needs no help, no intervention, only occasional guidance. Help me to help myself, the child pleads. Thus every useless help is an obstacle to his environment"

TIC follows the Philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori in its preschool section. It is perhaps the most widely accepted system of education for children that brings constant sources of pleasure, excitement and self-discovery. Learning at this stage is experiential, fun & activity based. The pedagogical processes followed are based on developmentally appropriate methods with multiple teaching and learning strategies.

The Montessori system recognises the crucial importance of the child's first six years of development. It is during these years that the child's power of absorption is at the highest and lifelong attitudes and patterns of learning are firmly formed. The child in this stage possesses an unusual sensitivity and intellectual ability to absorb and learn from the environments.

The activities in Montessori Classrooms are constructive. An environment (classroom) is created in which the child's personality can blossom and grow to the fullest potential.
