Accreditation
TIC Secondary school is affiliated to KERALA state board under Govt .of Kerala for classes V –X .However for classes I-IV the school follows CBSE curriculum and uses NCERT books
PRIMARY CLASSES I TO IV
The primary years are the formative years when students are initiated in the pursuit of seeking knowledge, thus the goal in Primary School is to nurture children in all dimensions of their life - spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical. The curriculum incorporates child- cantered principles that lead to holistic and multidisciplinary learning. The faculty provides a range of learning tasks appropriate for students at different developmental levels. It emphasizes the importance of literacy, numeracy, and language, while at the same time responding to changing needs in, social, personal, and health education, and citizenship.
The learning areas include:
- Languages (English, Malayalam, Arabic and Hindi): – Acquire the skills of listening, speaking, reading & writing, acquire varied range of vocabulary, develop interpersonal communication skills and express meaningfully. These languages are taught through activities with an aim to initiate the language in a fun way.
- Mathematics : – Performing operation of numbers, understanding shapes, similarities and differences, collecting data, representing and analysing the data, identifying patterns in shapes and numbers etc.
- Environmental Science :– To make them aware of their surroundings, appreciative of and sensitive of environmental issues (natural, physical, social and cultural)

Children also get opportunities to participate in inter-class competitions, class assemblies, CCA Activities, Annual days, celebrations and social awareness campaigns.
Middle School and HS sections
The curriculum in the middle school is comprehensive and balanced focusing on the holistic development of every student. It lays emphasis on the integration of Science and Technology, relating Math to daily life and concept based teaching in Social Science. Languages focus on enhancing students’ communication and creative skills making them effective communicators and confident individuals.
Thus the middle school curriculum trains students to become successful, independent learners who are prepared to succeed in senior school and beyond.
The pedagogy practiced in classrooms is widely student centred in which lessons that engage students by giving them opportunities to do most of the talking, to work independently and develop social skills for successful peer interaction. It encourage students to experiment with the topic without worrying whether or not it is correct
Major subjects taught at this level are English, Malyalam, Hindi, Arabic , Mathematics , Basic Science,Social Science , IT , Moral Studies etc
